Hi,
I've been enjoying JamCast on my Roku Soundbridge Radio, and I want to add a second internet radio to my house. Given the tenuous status of Roku Soundbridge, and other's reliability problems with their radio, I was looking at alternative devices. I thought I was settling on SqueezeBox, but I'm not clear if that would work with JamCast, since it appears that SqueezeBox is not UPnP. Can anyone advise?
Thanks,
Phil

If you're interested in the Virtual Soundcard feature only, I think there should be a way to get it to work on the SqueezeBox although an owner of one could confirm that for you. The Virtual Soundcard can be accessed over HTTP and has a static URL so accessing the URL from the SqueezeBox will deliver the stream no problem.
For everything else (local media, podcasts, etc.) that's all browsed to and accessed via UPnP, so you'd be out of luck there.
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks!
Scott
