A Version 1 release is imminent, but an exact timeframe I cannot speak of. Regarding licensing, you'll be able to purchase a V1 license for a very reasonable price and as a beta user you'll be given thanks in the form of a discount.

Well, I think those who have helped with debugging, testing, should be given a choice of staying with the final beta (without an expiry date) or upgrading at cost to the official release.

That would be fair.
