Rank: Newbie Joined: 4/19/2010(UTC) Posts: 3		Sorry for asking the same question but Ive not had an answer that works yet 1. I have a sigmatel card - I have enabled stereo mix. 2. Went to sound recorder and hit record to check if it was outputting sound and I had my spotify sound being recorded. 3. I then went to Sonos and tried to http://myip:58641/Media/Audio/Mpeg/CaptureStream and it picks it up but no sound... 4. In the logs.. (see below) 5. Thanks for taking the time to let us know, and for providing the log file. We might be dealing with two separate issues here, but let's go one at a time and see if by chance it's all the same thing. First, download Jamcast version 1.1 (hot off the press) here: http://www.sdstechnologies.com/Downloads.aspx Open Server Manager and click over to the Sharing Tab, then the Virtual Soundcard tab and take a look at your choices in the dropdown box. You should have at least (default) and the Sigmatel card, and it should be set to (default). Do you have more choices than that? Make sure this is set to Sigmatel, Apply your changes, then try the Virtual Soundcard on the Sonos again. If that works, try the n900. Let me know what you saw in that dropdown box, and if it helped. This is a new configuration option for the Virtual Soundcard and hopefully it does the trick. Also, I'm eager to see how things work out on the Nokia device. Hi sachmans, Were the other options in the dropdown related to some other non-Sigmatel card? A couple of other things to check: If you open Control Panel, Sounds & Multimedia, then click the Audio tab -- is the Sigmatel card selected as default under Recording? If you click the Volume button under Recording, do you see a slider for Stereo Mix and is it selected as the current recording source? Here's hoping this makes some progress. Thanks!
