Can't find devices

Hi

I just downloaded Jamcast onto my new computer, problem is i can't find any devices. Clicking "Find" doesn't help. What can i do to resolve this?

Hi Velocifero,

Sorry for taking a few days to get back to you on this.

The most likely cause of this is a firewall. Are you running a personal firewall on the same PC as where Jamcast is installed? If so, turn it completely off and restart the Jamcast service to determine if that makes a difference.

The other possibility is that another UPnP media server is causing conflict. If you have any other media servers running, stop them and then restart the Jamcast service to see if that helps.

Let me know if you are still having this problem and we'll do some more investigating.

Hi Scott,

None of the above worked, my firewall settings and anti-virus programs are the same on both computers,

Can you paste your upnplog.txt here so I can see what is going on behind the scenes?

It's located in the Jamcast program directory.
