I would like to use Jamcast to stream from my virtual sound card to my PS3 + Plasma. But I am concerned with the static Jamcast logo that is displayed constantly.

Ideally this logo would display for 10 seconds and then disappear, to repeat 5/10 minutes later on a different concern of the screen. This would eliminate any chance of burn in while still providing Jamcast with advertisement.

Alternatively you could scroll logo across the bottom of the screen or constantly shift the logo randomly (though this would be the most distracting of the options).

I am streaming Pandora from my PC to my Denon Receiver. If I turn on the Plasma I see the same logo you mentioned. It does not seem to go away after awhile. So I ended up just turning off the set to insure no burn in.
