I'm still looking for a upnp/dnla server which allows you to select a network folder for sharing (windows share or samba. or even (s)ftp)

Hi hmmr,

Jamcast handles this; a common issue with sharing network resources, however, is permissions. Jamcast by default runs as a service under the LocalSystem account which will not have access to a secure network resource. You can easily change the service logon account to one that does have the permissions you need.

What kind of issues were you having with this?
