I have a mediaplayer Teac and a Popcorn that i not can get to work proper:
Teac problem: find the "virtual soundcard" but can not play it, but the Teac can play podcast and musicfiles through Jamcast!?
Popcorn 100: It will not show the "virtual soundcard" but i can play music. The Podcast doesnt work either.
Any solution???

Hi mkbj,
Thanks for stopping by. I believe we have users using the Popcorn device with success, but they may not have tried the Virtual Soundcard feature. The Teac is definitely new around here. In either case, if they are UPnP/DLNA compatible then I want to support them. I'll need your help though as I don't have immediate access to either device. I have a utility, however, that can create a network capture between Jamcast and your device(s), which you can then send that capture dump to me and I can get a better idea of what's going on and how to fix it.
I'll send you a PM with instructions on how to do this.
Thanks!
Scott

hi,
is there any progress on this?
i have a popcorn hour and would like to get the Virtual Soundcard working.
there is no playlist showing in the playlist folder.
i also have a Reciva Argon iNet (http://tinyurl.com/kwnyk3), here i can see the Virtual Soundcard, but it times out while connecting.

Hi,
If you try this URL in a html page it should work (it does for me...).
<a href="http://YOUR_JAMCAST_PC_IP:58641/Media/audio+mpeg/CaptureStream" aod>MP3</a><br>
The sound will be about a minute behind the PC due to buffering I presume (at the popcorn side?).
LCPM or WAV streaming does not work and that's probably why the UPnP/DLNA virtual sound card stream fails.
Good luck!
/Mattias
