Hi there, tried to have a look arround but could not find similar issues.
Jamcast can find my xbox and when I start virtual soundcard from my xbox everything works great for the first song, but then spotify changes track everything gets fubar, no music just crackling noise. If I stop the playbak on my xbox and start it again the song is playing like it should.. Kinda hard to stop/start at every single track..
Any ideas?

Hi enigma,
Yes, there was another report of this exact same behavior but I've been unable to reproduce the issue or locate a problem thus far. Could you copy your medialog.txt to
http://pastebin.org
and share the link here? Hopefully there will be something in there that might help me get to the bottom of this elusive issue.
If anyone else has experienced this issue as well, please post here and let me know.
Thanks for your patience with this, this is a high-priority item for me and I'll supply a patch as soon as possible.
Thanks!
Scott

Hi.
I have the exact same problem. I am running under windows 7. One song is working, best case. I uninstalled jamcast, but i can try to install it and test it again. I Either get distorted strange sound or no sound at all. It comes back when i "change" song on the Virtual soundcard.

Hi Bulldog76,
Thanks for letting me know. Is this on an Xbox360 as well?
Could you post your medialog.txt to

and share it here? Looking for similarities between logfiles...
Thanks!

Hi again!
Yes i have an Xbox 360. But i updated my soundcarddriver yesterday and now it seems to be working. I´m not loosing the connection and dont get just static noise after the song changes.
But now i experience another problem, on almost each song i get a "wobbly" sound that lasts from a couple of seconds to maybe 10 seconds. It soudns as if it would be bandwith trouble. It soudns like an old tapedeck where the tape goes faster and slower.
I don´t experience this on my computer or if i stream music from my harddrive. I should not be having any trouble with bandwoth as i have Fiber coming in the house and i have wired network in my house from my computer to the 360. (through a router).
Regareds Bulldog.
Should i still post a logfile?
PS i have another problem with the software. I have tried to tick the box where it says to force something to do with sound. the i don´t get any sound at all with the virtual playlist.
The strange thing is that when i try to untick it again, i get an ehandled error and the software crasches. The only way to get rid of the option is to uninstall and reinstall Jamcast. (doesnt help to restart the computer)
I have this problem with other options as well when i try to change them...

Hi everyone,
Please download the 0.9.7.49 update release, it appears to have taken care of this issue. Please let me know if you find otherwise.

Thanks for your patience while I sorted this out!
