Hi Scott,

I have had 2 instances of the Jamcast Server stopping unexpectedly while I'm playing virtual soundcard random tracks. I do not see any errors in the import logfile, but the media server logfile shows this as the last entry (which I do not think played):

Local path: C:\Documents and Settings\Tom\My Documents\My Music\14 Constellations.wma
Source format: audio/x-ms-wma 16-bit 44100 Hz 2 channels
Output format: audio/L16;rate=44100;channels=2 16-bit 44100 Hz 2 channels

I am able to successfully play the song with Windows Media Player. I can restart Jamcast and everything is fine.
It had been playing random music for about 2 hours when this happened.

Any ideas?
Thanks,

Tom

Update:

It has played all night without a problem. I'll let you know if it happens again.

Hi Tom,

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

If you'd like, check your Windows application event log for details as to why the server crashed previously. I'd expect there to be some log detail in there at the time the server went down.

Glad you're movin' along for now, keep me posted.

Thanks!
Scott
