May I ask what happens when the license expires?
It currently states 31/12/09

Hi Matthew,

Thanks for stopping by. With each new release of the software comes an extended expiration date. So, as the end of the year approaches you should swing by and see what's new.

I guess the plan is to charge us for this if we like the software enough to keep it beyond the expiry at some point as the product moves out of beta...
