Hi Scott!
You helped me a while back t get Jamcast to work with both playstation 3 and xbox 360 when Jamcast was still a beta.
I bought a lifetime license of this nice software.
I have one issue that i would like to know if you can solve this.
I usually stream Spotify music to my ps 3 from the computer via the virtual soundcard. My problem is that the virtual soundcard plays back all sound from the computer.
I would like to have that Jamcast just plays back music from spotify. would that be possible?

Hey!

Good to hear from you again. I'm very glad to hear you purchased a license. Smile

At the moment, what you're looking to do is not possible. Jamcast captures audio from Windows after it's already been mixed with all of the other application audio streams. If the individual streams were readily available, that would do the trick but unfortunately, they are not.

I think Jamcast would have to ship with its own audio driver in order to make this possible. But, if some other solution presents itself, I'll definitely be looking into it.

Hope this answers your question.

Thanks!
Scott

Hi,

That's super-easy to fix. Just click the audio icon down in the startfield (the loud speaker), click "Mixer" And mute the sound you dont want to hear Smile; Voila, problemo solved!

Thanks for mentioning that, that does work! It's worth noting for others that stop by later that this is a Vista/Windows 7 feature.

Thanks!
