Cant find Jamcast on my Xbox 360

Hi,

So I've installed everything correctly and Jamcast can find the Xbox 360 Console but when I go to My Xbox > Music there is nothing coming up about Jamcast. Help me please!

Hi Pootang,

Sorry you ran into some troubles getting going with Jamcast.

The most common cause of this issue is a firewall blocking network traffic from Jamcast. Do you have a firewall running on that PC? If so, disable it completely and then restart the Jamcast service (important). See if it shows up on the console then...

If that works, I'll help you get your firewall configured with the correct exceptions so you can re-enable it and continue to use Jamcast.

Another possibility is that another media server software is causing a conflict. If you have any other media servers running, stop them and then restart the Jamcast service to see if that makes a difference.
