Hi

I have a Blurayplayer (LG HB965DF) with dnla support, my operatingsystem is windows7 64 bit ultimate.

Jamcast installed successful and its up and running properly, I have opend up the port on my router and jamcast shows test succeded on the network tab.

On my blueray player I can find my PC and shared folders, I can play movies or mp3 but it cant find jamcast neither does jamcast find the blurayplayer under the device tab, the only thing showing up there is device uknown 192.168.0.1 witch i guess is my router and my pc 192.168.0.10.

The blurayplayer got an ip address of 192.168.0.11 but is not sowing in the device tab i jamcast or windows

the reson why i want jamcast to work is becuse i want to play spotify on my hometheater.

Any help?

Hi V,

Thanks for stopping by. I should advise before going too much further that the Virtual Soundcard stream typically doesn't play nice with the LG devices due to the way they incrementally stream audio data. Sad

To answer your question though, I'd recommend shutting off any firewall or other internet security products in addition to any other UPnP/DLNA servers you might have running on the same computer. Once this is done, restart the Jamcast service and try again.

Hope this helps.

Thanks!

Hey V,

Could you paste your medialog.txt? This way I can confirm that we're seeing the same behavior I described earlier. Did you turn EnableSeekTrickmode on, or change any other device profile settings?

Thanks!

Hi

Yes I have both EnableSeekTrickmode and Forcemp3capturestream on True, If I turn any of them to false Ill get no sound. What seems to be the problem with LG devices can you explain it?

Another problem that I have with my Lg Is that It can only find Jamcast with the wire, If I go wireless it only finds my PC shared folders.

heres the log
