DirecTV - No Sound

I've had Jamcast for some time, worked fine until a day or so ago when it would not play sound through the DirecTV receiver on the same home network. I uninstalled, upgraded to the latest version, and the DirecTV menu sees it under the "my computers" section of the menu.

I select Jamcast, then it gives me three options. Virtual Soundcard, My Music, and Podcasts. I select Virtual Soundcard and that's where it ends. I keep selecting that, nothing happens. It doesn't even mute the TV signal that keeps playing until you make another audio selection.

Any ideas as to where to start looking?

I am having the same issue. I can play music files just fine, but no virtual soundcard. I have tried the enableseektrickmode and forcemp3capturestream setting as suggested in the getting started guides. Any help would be appreciated.

Just found a solution! Under "playlists", select VirtualSoundcard. For whatever reason the Virtual Soundcard button on the main menu does not work.
