Hi guys!

I'm in the 14 day free trail and if I am to continue with this product I will definitely need to figure this out!

So... I have jamcast on my n150 netbook. I am using the default virtual soundcard settings. I start playing something on spotify on my netbook and browse to the virtual soundcard on the amp.

After a bit of a delay, music starts to play! And then... it stops. The amp has gone back to the virtual sound card option and as soon as i click it, music again! And then... it stops again.

This happens in perpetuity! Obviously, if I can't fix it, then I can't use it. So I would REALLY like to fix it please!

Thanks so much!

Hi guys,

Fixed the delay and stopping by changing to mp3... Shame, because I was hoping to keep the audio as high fidelity as possible... But at least it's fixed!

Hi there!
I discovered JamCast this morning and downloaded the trial tonight to give it a try.
I'm absolutely impressed by what this piece of software does, and would like to buy it right away - if I didn't have the issue that crabby described above...
Unfortunately, my music media type is already MP3, and still the stream stops at the "client" level (a DLNA-compliant Yamaha RX-A810 amp) after 20 to 30 seconds.
I suspect that this is due to the limited bandwidth offered by my CPL adapter (even though the adapters are from the latest generation) between the PC where JamCast is installed and the Yamaha amp.
However I'm not sure, since an MP3 stream should in my view not require too much bandwidth to play without stopping, right?
I would highly appreciate if someone could provide some hints there...
Thanks, Pascal.
