Is there any way to decrease the delay? I'm trying to stream live audio from my pc to my ps3, and so far the only program I've found is Jamcast, but the delay makes it unusable. I need live audio, is there a way to do this?

Try changing the device properties to streaming mp3.

Delay is just too much watching the video, changing the stream to mp3 does not work.. Any other ideas? Will changing the encryption type in router work. Or reducing the sampling rate? I see the issue mainly in youtube and netflix.

Hello!
The Virtual Soundcard is unfortunately not a suitable solution for syncing audio to your connected device with the video source. Every network media player has at least a minimal playback buffer -- this is where audio is downloaded to and then played from – and will cause at least a small delay between the playback and video source. That plus a minor but still significant amount network latency adds some delay, and any momentary networking glitches would cause the synchronization to get even worse.
Hope this explains the delay – unfortunately it is simply unavoidable.
Thanks!
Scott
