Hey, I'm trying to stream sound from my laptop (over wifi) to my boxee box wich also is connected through wifi and the boxee box finds the virtual soundcard but, everytime i'll try to play it a popup comes up and say following: Error: Playlist playback aborted Too many consecutive failed items, do you know how to get by this or solved it at some how?

//Daniel.

Hi Daniel.

I'm sorry I missed this thread somehow! Thanks for your patience waiting for me to get back to you.

A recent update to the Boxee system has caused it to no longer work with the Virtual Soundcard. An issue has been reported to Boxee, and it seems their engineers have already reproduced and confirmed the issue:

http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/BOXEE-11309

The issue does not indicate when it will be fixed.

To be sure, you can paste your medialog.txt to http://pastebin.com (share the link here) and I can verify that this is indeed the same issue others are reporting.

I might recommend that you follow that link to Boxee's support system and create an account so that you can both comment on the issue to let them know you are interested in a fix as well. You can also choose to receive notifications from their system when that issue is updated.

Sorry I don't have better information at the moment. If we could address this issue on our end, we would be.

Thanks!

Scott
