I used the free trial of jamcast and streamed music perfectly to my sony home theathre system via the virtual soundcard function.

I bought the license for the programm and at the same time I reinstalled the program. Now I cant play from the virtual soundcard because it says on my home theatre system "The file is damaged, or there is a file who is not supported"

How do I solve this?

Hi Svennar,

Thanks for writing! The free and paid version of the software are the same internal guts, so they should work the same. However, it is possible that some configuration changed during the upgrade process.

Did you have to set any configurations to get the software working originally? What version of Jamcast did you install originally, we recently updated to version 1.7. Did you perhaps have a previous version installed?

Looking forward to hearing back from you on this.

Thanks!
Scott

I've got it working now, as you said maybe some configuration changed. In the devices menu I went to my home theatre system and changed "force mp3 capture stream" to true.

Thanks for fast reply anyways Smile
