streaming video to ps3?

just curious if there is any video stream service in the works through jamcast? i just recently found this program and am in the trial. now that i got it working, and LOVE it, there's a strong likelihood of paying for it. though, i am curious if there is any future implementation of streaming video to the ps3, or any other device for that matter. if so, i mean i'd buy it right now lol..

i've been using ps3mediaserver for that purpose, and was trying to get it to work streaming spotify to the ps3, but ran into a lot of problems. in my search for a resolution to that, is how i found out about jamcast in the first place. installed this, switched that tick to 48 on the ps3 and badabing. good stuff.

now if i could just find a simple program like this for both ends...

Hey there Zetyk,

The anserw is Yes! Though how long that would be, I don't know... I also use Jamcast for streaming to PS3 and wondered if video streaming would come some day... streaming will come some day and it's likely that any sort of video (mkv, x264 etc...) will be supported!

So you know what to do Wink!

Hi zetyk,

I agree with HotDuCk25 -- it's not a question of "if" but "when". We're at a point now with the software where video support wouldn't be such a huge leap for Jamcast like it once was, but there is still some audio-related functionality in the immediate future (including more with Spotify, stay tuned).
