When trying to use jamcast on my new Philips TV (PFL 6606). I get sound, but it is in slow motion. In the same time, my PS3 is running jamcast perfectly. Any ideas if I should just adjust some settings? I am running 1.7.0.175.
Best regards, Pascal
Update, after I turned ForceMP3 to true, the slowmotion dissapeared, but audio still does not run smoothly. It now sounds like a radio that is not tuned correctly. I tried multiple settings now, but was not able to find a solution

Hey Pascal,
Thanks for checking out Jamcast!
I think you've uncovered a bug I just finished up with. I'm planning on getting this new release out in a matter of days. If you can hang in there for just a bit, version 1.7.5 will be available. I can let you know here when it's posted if you like, and would be happy to extend your trial period as well.
Will that be OK?
Thanks!
Scott

Hi Scott,
Sounds great! I am looking forward to 1.7.5. If I can play it on my TV, then I can use Jamcast to play music in my living room and kitchen. Also I am hoping on both devices it will run synchronically. You have any idea when you will release 1.7.5?
Furthermore I have one more question to you. At the moment there is a delay between playing on the pc and playing on my ps3 of approximately 15 seconds. Any plans on reducing it?
Best regards,
Pascal

Hi Pascal,
The delay is pretty much all network & device. Jamcast captures audio in real time and sends it along immediately, it can't do any better than that on the server side.
Does it actually take 15 seconds for audio to start playing on the TV once you hit the play button?
Thanks!
Scott

Hi,
Unfortunately the fix was not the solution yet. So they are working hard, and let's hope it will be ready in the next version.

Hi,
I am using Jamcast (v. 1.7.0.175) to play music on my Bravia TV set but have the same "slow motion audio" problems. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks
Christoph

Hi,
I've got the same problem with a Grundig Cosmopolit 3F Internet Radio. I'm on v. 1.7.0.175 and have tried various sampling rates as suggested in a different thread, but the pitch is still slow.
Thanks,
Nick

We're putting the final touches on the 1.7.5 release that fixes this issue. In the meantime, happy to send this update out to anyone that needs it -- just ask.
Nick, I'll send you a PM with the link.
Thanks!
Scott

Hi Scott,
I just downloaded the Jamcast trial and am having the same slow motion audio issue on my Sony Bravia. If there's a fix / link you can send me, I'd appreciate it. The product seems really cool and can't wait to get it all working.
Matt
