Hey all,

New here. I'm looking for a way to capture PC audio output (i.e. from grooveshark) and play to my New Samsung 6000 TV.

The TV sees jamcast, and I can navigate to the virtual soundcard folder but there is no track there to play. It also lists all my music artists and albums but again no tracks are listed.

I have tried everything. Forcemp3 on device, enabled DLNA.

The other route I tried was using WMP 12, on the PC playing grooveshark audio, to navigate to the playlist folder in the jamcast library. But when I open the Jamcast library there is no "playlist" folder and no virtual soundcard folder listed.

I hope all that made sense. Any ideas?

Hi wrenb,

Thanks for stopping by and checking out Jamcast!

Have you tried the "EnableSeekTrickMode" setting on your Samsung device?

Thanks!

Yep, Set to "true". Still no tracks listed (virtual soundcard or tracks from my library).

I have a Samsung UE8000 series and it works just fine for me. You are able to see the folder but not the file because Samsung, by default, set it to only see video files. You'll have to make sure to switch from video to music. It should be on top of the screen. At least this was the case for me, it's worth checking out. Menus on 6000 series might be slightly different from the 8000 series.

Hope this helps :-)

Wow! So simple! Thanks Millenium and Scott. I didn't even think about that!

Works great now.
